The Chiropractic Centre in the Press
Interview with Dr. Chiappinelli at the Centre in Sitges
We are becoming more aware of the importance of caring for our bodies, not only on the outside, but also on the inside. Little by little healthy habits are being instilled in our society, whether this is in terms of food, exercise, or our awareness of good posture.
However, we can make an awkward move, we sleep in a bad position and then we feel awful. It turns out that all of this is easy to avoid but we still end up with a pain in the back.
This interview with Dr. Chiappinelli is an incentive to pay more attention to our bodily movements, which are not always correct, and also to find out more about chiropractic, the third most popular health profession in the world, which is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the spine.
Dr. Chiappinelli’s task as a chiropractic doctor
Chiropractic responses to spinal column pathologies are wide ranging: (conditions include: brachialgia, dizziness, neck pain, back pain, herniated slipped discs, etc.). All of this is exactly what Dr. Chiappinelli and his team who are "graduates of the best universities in America and France" deal with in the 2 Chiropractor Centres in Sitges and Barcelona.
ECU 2013 Convention
The ECU 2013 convention was held in Sitges from the 9th to the 11th of May, organized by the Spanish Association of Chiropractic, which brought Chiropractors together from all over the world.
Chiropractic is recognized by the World Health Organization and it is regulated throughout Europe, apart from in Greece and Spain. It is interesting that the European convention was held here in Spain, where there are unfortunately a lot of unqualified practitioners. Very strict regulation needs to be put in place in Spain, as it is already in the rest of Europe, where chiropractors must have a university degree in order to practice.
"You can do much damage with the hands"
Alain Chiappinelli, Chiropractor, knows the secrets to wellbeing that lie within the spinal column and suggests that we treat our bodies with the same respect and attention that you would an expensive luxury car.
